Mark your calendars for the CMA’s 13th annual Solstice on June 24th, a night that promises a whirlwind of art and music. This year, the event features an impressive lineup of international artists, including OKAN (Cuba/Toronto), the Bazurto All Stars (Colombia), La Sra. Tomasa (Spain), and GoldFish (South Africa). The event will also host Sanctuary, a local favorite, showcasing DJ talents for a night of music, dancing, and unforgettable fun. “Solstice is a night like no other,” said Pollack. “Energizing music from four continents and incredible visual displays will electrify the museum at the party of the year.”
Stunning art projections on the museum’s exterior, 3-D illuminated lanterns designed by Inflatabill suspended from the ceiling, flash talks by museum staff, and late-night gallery visits promise an unforgettable experience. Food and beverages are included in the ticket price and will be available both indoors and out.
To add to the excitement, members get exclusive access to presale tickets beginning Monday, May 15, at 10 a.m., with the public sale commencing Tuesday, May 16, at 10 a.m., if tickets are still available.
The Solstice lineup features artists representing diverse music styles and regions, from the Cuban jazz of OKAN to the Afro-Cuban rhythms of the Bazurto All Stars, the Latin-infused music of La Sra. Tomasa, and the electronic sounds of GoldFish. Add to this the Sanctuary DJ ensemble, the projection mapping wizardry of Kevin Jackson, and the mesmerizing inflatables of Inflatabill, and you have an event not to be missed.
